Sometimes animals can be misunderstood if you aren’t experienced around them, and I have to admit that I have had some concern about bears. I love to hike, and I feel more comfortable in nature than I do anywhere else. Since I work from home, I can live wherever I want to, so I have often considered spending some time in Montana and/or Alaska because they offer such expansive hiking opportunities. But, I after doing my research, I have been a little bit wary of bears, both in my own behalf and that of my dog.
I’ve read that bear attacks are rare, and you are way more likely to be killed by a vicious dog than a bear, and I accept that, but still, there is no defending yourself against a bear if he or she gets the wrong idea about your intentions.
It’s a synchronicity for me, because I have genuinely been thinking about bears, and I saw this video the other say that has gone a long way toward assuaging my concerns.
